Jose Natal Sousa passed away at the age of 78 in Turlock, he was born in the Azores in 1936 to Manuel Enes and Maria Amorim. Jose came to Turlock in 1978 where he worked on a dairy and also for Gallo Winery before retiring from Silva’s Construction. He enjoyed playing the trumpet and attended Our Lady of The Assumption Church in Turlock. 

He is survived by his wife Manuela Sousa; children Isilda Sousa of Gilroy, Rick Sousa, Cesar Sousa and Tony Sousa all of Turlock; brothers Olegario Enes, Jorge Enes, Manuel Enes and Alfonso Sousa all of the Azores; four grandchildren Erik, Evan, Avory, and Aaron Sousa. 

Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM with recitation of the Rosary to follow at 7:30 PM both at Allen Mortuary on Wednesday, June 24, 2015.  Mass will be 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Our Lady of The Assumption Church with entombment follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
