Lilly (Liz) Cole was born in Madera, CA on March 12, 1940. She passed away in Merced on Monday, April 20, 2015 at the age of 75. Lilly worked for over 30 years as a waitress. One of her favorite past times were her shopping trips to Wal*Mart. The most important thing in her life was her children and grandchildren. Lilly loved baking and decorating cakes. During the holidays her family members would all stop by to pick up their goodie plates of cookies and candies. 

Lilly is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Lilly Gibbs and brother James Gibbs. She is survived by four children, daughter Brenda Cole, sons Howard Cole (Tammy) and Douglas Cole (Rhonda) and daughter Deanna Clendenin (Tony). She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Lilly was also survived by her brother Richard Gibbs (Jan), sisters Pat Sisk (John) and Colleen McAbee (Wylie) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Viewing will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Calvary Assembly of God, 1021 R St. in Merced. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.
