Marvin Bishop was born in Modesto, CA on October 2, 1936 to Zeno and Ruby Bishop, and at age 85 went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2021.  He was raised in Turlock working on a farm before driving truck until retirement.  After retirement he continued work as a handyman until his health prevented.  

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Barbara Bishop; siblings Calvin Kelly, Florence Hess, Lelah Bergstrom, Donna Atchison, Jimmy Bishop and companion Ila Coonce.  Left to remember him are his children Vena (Thomas) Robinson of Jackson, GA, Edward Bishop Jr. of Turlock, Vicki (John) Root of Turlock, Toby (Tiffany) Bishop of Delhi; sister Ruth Walner of Turlock and many nieces and nephews.  He leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  He dearly loved his family and will be sorely missed.  Marvin will be interred at Turlock Memorial Park in the near future.  No services will be held.  Please share your memories at www.AllenMortuary.com.
