Nathan was born on March 2, 1978 in Oswego, NY.  He joined older sister, Theresa, and in 1984 his family was blessed with sister, Elizabeth, which gave him the opportunity to be an older brother.

He attended grade school in Fulton, NY, until 1986, when his family moved to Marietta, GA.  In 1989 he and his family settled in Turlock, where he attended Julien Elementary School, Turlock Junior High, and Turlock High School where he graduated in 1997.  He then enrolled at Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, AZ, where he attained an A.A. Degree in drafting in 1998.

At age five, Nathan was introduced to skiing, which became a lifelong passion.  Throughout the years there were many ski trips with his family and friends.  During the winter of 1999-2000, Nathan fulfilled his dream of working at Bear Valley Ski Resort where he was able to ski and snow board to his heart’s content.

Nathan enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2000, and served for four years on the guided missile cruiser U.S.S. Cowpens based in Yokosuka, Japan.  He completed his tour of duty in 2006.

Nathan was a decorated veteran and proud to serve his country.

He moved from California to Stamford, CT, in 2007 to join Van Dyke Baler Co. as a field technician.  He worked on installation and maintenance of automatic separation equipment used in the recycling industry.

Nathan was a very honest, caring, and giving man, and he was loved by many.  Some of his favorite interests included skateboarding, golf, disc golf, biking, back packing, and travel vacations throughout the years with family and friends.  He is a blessing to his family, a special gift from God.

Nathan leaves his parents, Joseph and Joann Adams, of Turlock; his sister, Theresa Garretson, brother-in-law, Neil Garretson, and nephew Holt of Acworth, GA, and his sister Elizabeth Adams of Turlock.  He also leaves his aunts and uncles:  Margaret Adams of Olympia, WA, Larry and Carla Seaquist of Gig Harbor, WA, Paul and Tammy Seaquist of Milton-Freewater, OR, Byron and Karen Seaquist of LaGrande, OR, Lois and Vince Poxleitner of Boise, ID, and cousins Chris Seaquist, Tiffany Pate, Tennille Ziegler, Brad Seaquist, and Jeremy and Mandy Poxleitner.
