Following the success of the Palm Estates and Wenstrand Ranch subdivisions, Malet Development — under Torre Reich Construction, Inc. — is once again building in the community of Denair.
Elmwood Estates includes 17 parcels situated on a 4.8-acre parcel along Story Road.
Reich, a native of Denair, said that after the success from the prior two developments in the area, “why not find a little infill project?”
“We’re a smaller developer, so it was good to be able to find something that was more in our wheelhouse. We try to build more of an upper-end production home, meaning there’s a lot of features and designs that we want to incorporate that maybe some of the other builders don’t,” Reich said.
Elmwood Estates will feature three thoughtfully designed floor plans ranging from approximately 2,150 to 2,650 square feet on spacious lots of roughly 8,000 to 10,000 square feet. Buyers will also have the opportunity to choose from several popular upgrades, including a 3rd-car garage, 4th bedroom conversion and California Room.
While the customization and designs are a selling point, for Reich the distinction in his homes are the products used to build them.
“It’s just a clean, simple, more of a maintenance-free home. We try to build them with products that 10, 15, 20 years down the road, they’re going to look the same, and that’s important to us,” he said.
Dustin Seawell liked the home he bought in Wenstrand Ranch so much that he is now working for Malet selling the new homes at Elmwood Estates.
“Wenstrand Ranch, 42 homes, was built right when COVID had started. We actually live in one of them. The community he built here is great. I have a 10-year-old and a 1 and half year old and the amount of tight knit families with kids running around is great.”
