Reba (Clendenen) Hoex

Reba was born in Ada, OK on Feb. 13, 1936 and was the second child of eight children born to Joseph Woodard Clendenen and Reaber Gladys (Turner) Clendenen. She attended Hawthorne School and graduated from Turlock High School in 1954. While raising a family, Reba went back to school and became a registered nurse. During her career, she worked at Turlock Community Hospital until its closing. She then worked for Doctors Washburn, Mitchem, and Shellinck until her retirement. Reba loved the Lord with all her heart and while attending Richland Faith Assembly of God, she created beautiful new friendships.

Reba was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Roy Clendenen, Joe Clendenen, and Shirley Barnes.

Reba is survived by her husband, Pieter Hoex; her children, Sharon (Holly) Sahlin (Russ) and Greg Holly (Pam); her grandchildren, Paul Yaddow (Rachel), Zach Stiles, David Sahlin, Dylan Holly (Vanessa), Brandon Marino, Stacy Siville (Kevin), and Cloe Holly; her great-grandchildren, Elijah and Zanti Yaddow, Carson, Brooke, and Aria Marino, Trevor Gault, and Benjamin Zirbes; and her siblings, Paul and Dewey Clendenen, Betty Norwood, and Diane Winter.

Services are being held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Turlock Funeral Home. The visitation is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the Main Chapel.
