Robert “Bob” Holder was born on April 27, 1926 to Alfred “Dude” and Annie Holder in Oklahoma. He was one of nine children. 

Bob came to California in 1944. He met and married the love of his life, Katheryn Hendryx in 1945. 

He worked for the City of Turlock for over 35 years, where he started in the street department and retired as the Superintend of Public Works. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 69 years, Katheryn, seven siblings, and grandson Nicholas Penick. 

He is survived by his brother Bill (Janet) Holder, his daughter Darla (Eddie) Penick, and grandchildren Jeremy Penick, Alisa Penick, and Jesse Penick. 

A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 27. Both services will be held at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
