Suzanne was born April 20, 1935 in Denair, CA to Joe and Ruth Domecq. She attended school in Denair until 1951, when the family moved to Hughson. She graduated Hughson High School in 1953. After high school, she graduated from the nursing program at Modesto Junior College. Her career included many years of nursing at Turlock Medical Clinic for Dr. Frank Waldorf, and also, in Modesto for Dr. Richard Circle. She lived in Dinuba, Kansas and Nebraska for several years and worked as a nurse there, also.

Her hobbies included collecting and selling antiques, painting, sewing, and quilting. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jan Hickman, of Ceres; granddaughter, Samantha Van Bolt (Luke), of Ceres; Grandson, Dusten Hickman (Susanna), of Sacramento; great-grandchildren, Hunter Van Bolt, Remington Van Bolt, and Ezekiel Hickman; sisters, Julie Samuelson, of Idaho, and Jean Scott, of Denair; as well as nephews, a niece, and numerous cousins in Alaska, Oregon, California, and Idaho. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a contribution be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
