Theodore A. Rocha (Ted) age 88, was born on November 9, 1926 in Volta, CA to Candido & Josephina Rocha and passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015 in Hanford, CA where he had lived previously to moving to Fresno, CA. Ted served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1946. Ted had worked on dairies until relocating to the bay area and then had a career with Leslie Salt and retired after 26 years. He was a member of the Hanford Seniors Club and attended Calvary Chapel. Ted will be most remembered for his passion and love for hunting and being involved with all the dances. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife; O’Linda Rocha, a son; Leonard Rocha, a sister; Josephine Souza and four brothers; Alex, Kenneth, Ernest and Jerome Rocha. 

He is survived by his wife; Mary L. Rocha of Fresno, daughter; Cathleen and her husband Ray Burns of Roseburg, OR, daughter-in-law; Marlys Rocha of Yuba City, four granddaughters; Monique Ingalls, Michelle Standley, Nicole Leonard and Raelene Mitchell, six great- grandchildren; Ashley and Emily Ingalls, Bailey and Chaz Leonard, Drake and Seth Standley and a brother, Joaquin Rocha of Turlock, CA. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 (559) 584-5591 with a Visitation also on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Whitehurst-Norton & Dias Funeral Service; 286 W.
