Dear Turlock Journal,

It is my honor to write this letter of support for Kelly Higgins as a nominee for the District 3 city council position. I have known Ms. Higgins for 19 years and can attest to the fact that she is a woman of the best character. 
I have come to know and appreciate Kelly Higgin’s passion and commitment to Turlock. Whatever the program or activity, Kelly fully invests herself in serving others. She loves Turlock and it shows in her speech and deeds. 

Kelly Higgins is passionate about youth, veterans, education, and ethics. She stands firm on her beliefs and I know that she will represent all of her constituents equally. She will authentically listen to concerns and work hard to make her district and city a better place. 

I can say without reservation that Kelly Higgins would make an outstanding City Council member. She understands the role of a council member and she will work hard at it. As a working mother, Kelly knows what hard work looks like and is not afraid to push up her sleeves and work diligently with other council members. She is an excellent example of “service before self,” and I am proud to call her my friend.

When it comes to experience, commitment, and knowledge, Kelly Higgins is a proven community leader.  I ask you to join me and vote for Kelly Higgins for City Council. Thank you.
