Cal State Stanislaus guard Andreanna Marshall was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association's women's basketball Player of the Week after leading the Warriors to a pair of key wins last weekend, including an upset over the West Region’s top team — Cal Poly Pomona.

The senior from Panorama City averaged 28 on 21-for-31 shooting (48.8 percent), 3 rebounds and 2 assists and 1 assist a game during the recent stretch.

In a 90-82 victory over Cal State San Bernardino, Marshall scored a game-high 31 points and collected four rebounds. She connected on 11 of 23 shots (47.8 percent) from the field and was 9-for-9 from the free throw line.

She followed that effort with 25 points — on 10 of 20 shooting — two rebounds, three assists and two steals during an 83-80 victory over Cal Poly Pomona.

Stanislaus closes out regular-season play with road games at San Francisco State and Cal State Monterey Bay on Thursday and Friday, respectively. The Warriors have already clinched a berth in the conference’s postseason tournament set for March 1.
