NorCal Premier Soccer is wrapping up summer with their Fall League just around the corner.

The boys U9 Ajax United ’07 Green B team has stayed consistent with their wins and progressed as a team.

“I’ve been so impressed with their development,” Ted Paoloa, Head Coach, said. “They have continued to progress and improve throughout the season.”

The boys’ record sits comfortably at 39-1-2 as reigning champions of the six tournaments they have entered this year.

“The NorCal State Cup is coming up soon,” Paoloa said. “That’s definitely something we are looking forward to and working towards as a team.”

The Ajax claimed their sixth champion tournament title last weekend at the Davis Legacy Super Classico.  They won three of their games in group play, beating San Ramon, 2-1; Davis Legacy, 8-0; and American River, 8-0.

The boys then faced Placer United in the championship game, where they finished regulation play tied 1-1.  The score did not change in overtime and penalty kicks lead to the team’s success as the Ajax won 5-3.

The Ajax have also won their Regions Spring League and will continue to compete in upcoming tournaments.
