Turlock High infielder and pitcher Boston Souza signed his letter of intent to play college baseball at the University of Antelope Valley in front of the new Science building Thursday afternoon. In five appearances this year Souza has an overall record of 2-1 with a 3.4 ERA. He also has a batting average of .278 this year with five RBIs. Souza has been working towards playing college baseball since he was very young and is the first member of his family to receive an athletic scholarship.
