The final tally is in for the anti drunk driving campaign held over the Fourth of July weekend.

The Turlock Police Department, the overseeing agency of the Avoid the 12 campaign, reported 29 DUI arrests between 12:01 a.m. July 2 to midnight Monday. In 2009 there were 48 DUI arrests during a three-day time frame.

The task force utilized eight special DUI saturation patrols and one sobriety checkpoint.
