A woman who repeatedly entered the home of strangers to ask for Advil was arrested by the Turlock Police Department and charged with burglary.

The suspect was identified as Rosie Miller, 35, of Turlock.

The incident began around 11 a.m. Tuesday when the department received a report of a burglary in progress in the 1900 block of El Capitan Drive.

Officers arrived to find a woman in the home, identified later as Miller, and the resident. The resident told the officers that Miller, who was a stranger to the resident, had just walked into the home and asked for some Advil, according to the police department.

While at the El Capitan residence the officers learned a similar incident had occurred in the 200 block of Mission Street, said Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Steve Rodrigues.

The Mission Street residence recounted a similar experience of Miller walking into the home and asking for Advil. The resident said Miller left, but returned about 10 minutes later and again asked for some Advil.

Miller was taken into custody without incident and arrested on suspicion of burglary.
