Police investigate apartment explosion

The Turlock Police Department is investigating an explosion that happened inside a Turlock apartment.

Around 8 p.m. Tuesday the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to the 3300 block of Fosberg Road for a report of vandalism in progress.

The responding officer discovered sometime of explosion had occurred in an apartment. There was no fire, though the windows had been blown out.

No injuries were reported.

Witnesses saw two people running from the apartment, but the two individuals were not located.

The investigation is ongoing.
