A Turlock teen taken by an Oklahoma police officer in his 30s was found safe in Las Vegas.

Danniel Boone Morgan, an officer on administrative leave from the Kiowa Police Department in Oklahoma, was taken into custody by law enforcement in Las Vegas for the abduction of Alexis Odisho, 15, according to the Turlock Police Department.

Multiple law enforcement agencies aided in the 22-hour long investigation that resulted in the safe return of Odisho.

The Turlock Police Department put out an alert on Wednesday stating that Morgan was believed to have taken off with the teenager, who left voluntarily. Authorities also believed Morgan to be armed.
