A woman's use of a store's courtesy electric cart went a bit too far, literally.
Amanda Rogers was arrested by the Turlock Police Department on allegations she had stolen the cart from the store.
The theft was reported at 12:31 p.m. Saturday at a store in the 2500 block of Geer Road.
Police officers arrived at the scene and checked the area. They found Rogers riding the cart about a block away from the store. The cart is for store use only, said Turlock Police spokesperson Sgt. Mike Parmley.
The cart was valued at $2,000.
Rogers was arrested on suspicion of grand theft. She was taken into custody without incident.
