An unspecified threat of violence called into Turlock Junior High School on Tuesday morning prompted a lockdown at the campus.
An anonymous male caller threatened the campus with violence around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday and as a precaution the school was put on lockdown. By 10:20 a.m. the lockdown had been lifted, according to Turlock Unified School District.
The Turlock Police Department conducted a search of the campus and and determined there was no immediate threat. Officers remained at the campus as a precaution.
As of Tuesday afternoon, no suspects had been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
