Meeting offers information on Pharmacy Technician program

Modesto Junior College Workforce Development has scheduled a Pharmacy Technician Training Program information meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 25 in John Muir Hall, room 260, on West Campus, 2201 Blue Gum Avenue. The meeting is free and open to the public, and campus parking is $2 without a permit. The training program prepares students for an entry-level position as a licensed technician for a retail or hospital pharmacy.

Stanislaus State’s Academic Senate voted in favor of a bill that would require students enrolled in all 23 California State University campuses to take one 3-credit unit of any qualifying Ethnic Studies course before they graduate (Journal file photo).
