Ready for the Easter parade
Pitman dresses

Pitman High student Jazmyn Monares presented Salvation Army Major Debi Shrum with one of the 24 spring dresses that were handmade by Anne Cornell's Fashion Class. The Kiwanis Club of Turlock has been donating fabric to the Fashion Class to make dresses for the Salvation Army twice a year — just before Christmas and Easter — since 2002. The dresses will be given to kids in the Army's after-school program or to parents who have children that are receiving social services from the Salvation Army.

"I feel happy to bless little girls with these dresses.," said Monares.
