ASSYRIAN NEW YEAR
assyrianparade1

Dennis Earl elementary students and previous students along with community liaison Caty Nariman participate in a parade to celebrate the 6,766 Assyrian New Year. Students paraded around the school as classrooms sat outside and learned about the Assyrian culture.  The parade was put together by students to recite the Assyrian alphabet as they carried banners with the alphabet on them while others carried banners. "I think we are fortunate to live in a multicultural environment and have the opportunities to learn about a unique and diverse culture, tradition, and language. We love our community and are blessed to live in such a beautiful land, America!" said Caty Nariman.
