After sharing this year’s Central California Athletic League championship, the flag football programs of Turlock and Pitman high schools are now looking ahead to the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs.

The section released postseason brackets on Friday afternoon, revealing both powerhouse programs will host first round games next week.

Pitman ended its season with a 9-1 run in the CCAL and a 14-3 overall record following Tuesday’s 19-0 win against Gregori.

Senior Holland DeLay scored two touchdowns Tuesday while junior Emily Martinez added the team’s third to help the Pride earn a seventh straight victory and complete a trifecta of league championships between its junior varsity and freshman levels.

The Pride are seeded No. 8 in the Division II bracket and will host No. 9 Tracy on Wednesday.

Up in Division I, Turlock, following a fifth straight shutout Tuesday against Enochs to finish with a 17-1 overall record and a 9-1 mark in the CCAL, is seeded No. 2. The Bulldogs will host No. 15 Davis in the postseason opener Wednesday.

Both playoff games are slated to begin at 6 p.m.

The Bulldogs have sat atop the CCAL standings the past two years, winning outright last year. The Pride, meanwhile, added to their championship count after winning the conference crown in the sport's inaugural season in 2024.

Turlock and Pitman each handed each other the lone league losses of the season. The Bulldogs won the first meeting Sept. 15 by a 22-12 score while the Pride were victorious Oct. 1 by a 13-12 score.

Editor's note: A recap of Turlock’s win against Enochs on Tuesday failed to mention Pitman's victory on Tuesday, which earned the Pride a share of the CCAL championship alongside Turlock. We regret the mistake.
