Two girls and two boys from both Turlock and Pitman high schools spoke at the American Legion Hall on Friday about their adventures at Girls State and Boys State this past summer. They all went for a week-long conference to learn about the process of the California government, how it works and they even built their own government from the ground up.

For Girls State, Leanna Jasek-Rysdahl of Pitman High and Brina Patel of Turlock High attended the conference. For Boys State, Morley Baker of Turlock High, and Beau Powell of Pitman High attended the conference.
