The community of Hughson will be hosting its annual Hughson Fruit & Nut Festival the weekend Saturday and Sunday to honor its rich agricultural tradition.

The event will feature craft, produce and fruit vendors lining Hughson Avenue as well as a truck and classic car show, a food court, beer garden and kiddy tractor pulls. Entertainment will be offered by Crossman Connection and Gary Gervase and the Kickstart Blues. Rob Ely will perform as an Elvis impersonator.

There will also be a “make your own ice cream” exhibit.

The event will run 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
