Louisville-based Texas Roadhouse is preparing to open its doors in Turlock come October at its new location at 1665 Countryside Drive. At the site of the former HomeTown Buffet restaurant that closed during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the newly constructed Texas Roadhouse building will sit at 8,300 square-feet and will be able to seat over 400 guests. The new Turlock location will also offer to-go orders once operations are underway.

As the restaurant prepares for its mid-October grand opening, managers are currently deep into their hiring processes. The new location will look to employ 225 individuals for both full-time and part-time positions with applications currently being accepted and interviews already being underway.

Those interested in applying for positions at the new restaurant can do so directly at apply.texasroadhouse.com. Walk-in applications will also be accepted at the former Army and Navy recruiting center in the same parking lot as the restaurant in Countryside Plaza, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Once open, Texas Roadhouse will serve its traditional menu featuring hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, chicken, salads, hamburgers, vegetables and other made-from-scratch side dishes.
