All Turlock Fire units responded to a working residential structure fire at approximately 1 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Burman Drive.
First arriving units found an exterior fire that had extended into the garage and attic.
Crews were able to bring the fires under control within 20 minutes. Two people were displaced from the fire. With MST resources, there was a total of four engines, one squad, one quint, two battalion chiefs, the fire investigative unit and one chief officer. Turlock Police officers and American Medical Response also responded to the fire. Crews remained on scene for an extended period of time conducting overhaul of the fire building.
The Stanislaus County Fire Investigative Unit was dispatched to handle the fire investigation.
