Amar Kaur, 74, of Livingston passed away on Monday, Oct.  4 at Mercy Medical Center in Merced.

 She was born and raised in India in 1936. She lived in India until 1994, when she immigrated to Livingston. Amar was a member of the Livingston Sikh Temple. God and family were her life.

Amar is survived by her children, Gurmit S. Jhutti of Livingston and Parminder K. Gill of England; two brothers and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tasvir Singh.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9 at Allen Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Sunday, Oct. 10 at Allen Mortuary, with cremation following at 2 p.m.
