Anita went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday in Livingston, where she was a resident for over 30 years. She was born on July 28, 1953 in Agrullo, Jalisco, Mexico. She was a caregiver for many children in the community. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, knitting, watching Western movies and fishing with her husband. 

Anita is survived by her husband, Mike R. Torres; three sons, Richard Torres, Steve Torres and Bobby Torres; three daughters, Justine Torres, Michelle Torres and Susie Torres-Lohman; 13 grandchildren and two great grand children.

A public visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. with recitation of the Holy Rosary to start 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at Saint Jude Thaddeus Roman Catholic Church in Livingston.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, also at Saint Jude Thaddeus Roman Catholic Church in Livingston, with burial to follow at the Winton District Cemetery in Winton.
