Arcadio Godinez-Sahagun, 77, of Turlock died Jan. 16. He was born in 1933 in Gauyabos, Jalisco, Mexico. He worked as a laborer for 65 years. 

Arcadio is survived by Juana Godinez of Turlock; sons, Agapito Godinez of Mexico, Daniel Godinez of Mexico, Javier Godinez of Mexico, Francisco Godinez of Chicago, Ill., Guillermo Godinez of Turlock, Ramon Godinez of Turlock, Arcadio Godinez, Jr.  of Turlock, and Carlos Godinez of Mexico;  daughters, Angelina Godinez of Mexico, Graciela Godinez and Martha Godinez of Turlock; brother, Maximiano Godinez of Turlock; sister, Guadalupe Godinez of Texas; 32 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 West Main St., Turlock. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias. Burial will be in Mexico.
