Bill Sims, 84, of Turlock, passed away July 17, 2023, in Hughson, CA. He was born

April 30, 1939, in Washington, OK, to the late William J. and Edna Sims. His family moved to Chowchilla, CA, when he was three years old. Following his service in the U.S. Navy, Bill settled in Orange County, CA, where he met and married his wife Lynda in 1962. He moved to Turlock in 1976 and started a successful painting business. He built, owned, and managed rental properties in Turlock and Salisbury, North Carolina. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings. He is survived by his wife of sixty years Lynda, daughter Suzette (Lewis), son Wm. Michael (Shelly), five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two bonus great grandchildren, and sister Fay Food.
