Brandon Koch, 26 of Turlock, died April 12 of adrenocortical cancer at Stanford Hospital.
Brandon was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Brandon had no acquaintances, only friends. He was well respected in the community and known for his kindhearted demeanor, the way he easily made friends, and his kindred spirit. He was an avid skater and frequented the Turlock Skate Park. He always took the time to show other people how to skate or do tricks, and he loved to help people.
Brandon leaves behind his mother, Jean Koch; sister Nicole Koch; nephew Sebastian Stevens; aunt Judith Suliman; uncle Terry Suliman; uncle Jay Becker; Aunt Beth Becker; Brandon is also survived by his girlfriend and the love of his life, Katey Shumann; Katey's parents, sister and brother; his many cousins and numerous friends.
At Brandon's request, there was no funeral. Instead, his friends and family gathered at Foxgrove in Hughson on April 21 to remember his amazing life and the impact he had on those around him.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society under Brandon's name.
