Burton Nance, 79, of Turlock, was born to Leonard and Willie Nance in Oklahoma City. He was a high school graduate. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He married Patricia Marler in July of 1975. He passed away at Bel Air Lodge Convalescent Hospital in Turlock.

Burton was preceded in death by his parents and by step-son Danny Ballard in 2009. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Nance of Turlock; sons, Brian and Rick; daughter, Nancy; step-son, Larry (Pam) Ballard of Turlock; daughter-in-law, Norma Ballard Nunn of Turlock; three grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
