Clarence Everett Aldrich of Hughson died at home on the ranch where he had lived his entire 91 years. 

He was a 1942 graduate of Hughson High School. While in high school he enjoyed sports, excelling in football and baseball.

In 1944 he married his high school sweetheart, MaryAnne Carr. They settled on the family farm where they raised hogs, then converted to a small dairy. Later he grew peaches and most recently, almonds and walnuts.

Everett and MaryAnne enjoyed traveling; fishing in Oregon; and for over 30 years would spend a month every winter in their beloved Borrego Springs.

Everett was a life long member of the Hughson United Methodist Church.

During their 71 years together he and MaryAnne were blessed with three children: Adrienne Beck (Jim), Pam Genzoli (Chas.) a, Randy (Paulette), 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson Alex Aldrich and granddaughter Emily Genzoli-Cullum.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1p.m. on Saturday, October 10th at the Hughson United Methodist Church on the corner of 6th and Fox.
