Charlotte Baba, 88, of Turlock, died Sunday. 
Charlotte was born to John and Margaret Porhat in Yonkers, NY. She graduated from Yonkers High School as an excellent bookkeeper; she worked for the board of education after high school.  She married Frank Baba in Farmington, NJ on Oct. 3, 1943. They had three children and moved to Turlock after the war in 1946.  Charlotte worked for Turlock Dental Arts as a file clerk until her retirement in February 1985. From then on she enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. 
She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and First Methodist Church of Turlock.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 67 years, Frank Baba of Turlock; sons, Chuck Baba and his wife, Cathy, of Turlock and Kenneth Baba and his wife, Pam, of Shawnee, Wyo.; daughter, Francine Babe of Rockland; brother, George Porhat of Modesto; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. 
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel.
A graveside service is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30 at Turlock Memorial Park. 
Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
