Cynthia Kay White, 50 passed away Oct 24th at her home in Turlock with her family by her side after a courageous fight with cancer. Cynthia was born in San Angelo, Tx to Bill and Ruth(Earnest) White. With her father being in the USAF, she spent time in Germany and Ohio before coming to Calif. In 1974 she graduated with honors from Oak Grove High School in San Jose in 1981 and UC Santa Barbara in1985. She married Peter McCarthy in1989 in Goleta, Ca and they had 24 years of marriage and two wonderful children who were the light of her life. Cynthia worked for Gallo Winery in Modesto before her daughter was born and has been a stay at home mom for 11 years, home schooling her children in their early years. She has been a faithful volunteer at Denair D2A until she just got too ill to carry on. Cynthia was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. She leaves her husband Peter, children Alex and Aidan White-McCarthy at home, her mother and care giver Ruth White and Father Bill White of Turlock, sister Cheryl Svehla of Roseville and her extended McCarthy family in Massachusetts.
