Duane Jenkins of Turlock, California (previously of Auberry) has passed away.  He taught in elementary schools for 38 years in Riverdale, McKittrick, and Auberry.   He retired in 1988.  He was an athlete and coach.  Duane was also an active member of Lions Club International for many years and after retirement was involved with the Sierra Oaks Senior Center.  He was a faithful member of the church of Christ.  Duane is survived by Lou Eve Jenkins, his wife of 64 years; his children Duane (Melva) Jenkins, Jr. of Tejeras, NM; Dana (Matt) Rickard of Turlock, CA; Gil (Diana) Jenkins formerly of Selma, CA; and Alana (Skip) Brown of Meridian, OK; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  His memorial service will be held on Friday, December 1 at 11:0am at the Turlock Church of Christ, 801 N.
