She was born in Turlock to Louis and Ethel Domecq and was the last survivor of their 10 children. Florence grew up in Denair and married Donald Moore of Denair. Florence enjoyed singing, dancing; she played the piano, entertained guests, volunteered for the Mendocino Community Library and Study Club. Florence and Don also travelled extensively, visiting every continent except India and Antarctica. She was active as a swimmer, bowler, and golfer in addition to reading.
Florence is survived by daughters, Patricia Moore of Santa Rosa and Joan Moore of Little River; son, Carl Andrew Moore of Little River; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings, and by her husband Donald in 2000.
A private service has been held to honor Florence. Memorials may be considered for the Mendocino County Library or the Mendocino Coast District Hospital.
