Frankieann Casenave of Turlock, California, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2017 at Covenant Care Center.  Frankie was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming on April 9, 1927.  At the age of 10, she moved to Oakdale where she graduated from Oakdale High School. Several years later, she married her high school sweetheart, Donald Casenave and soon had two daughters, DeeAnn and Lori.  Frankie worked as a quality control supervisor for TriValley Growers.  She was a long- standing member of Sacred  Heart Catholic Church and active in YLI.  Frankie loved her family, doting over her grandchildren at every opportunity.  Her hobbies included working in her yard, meticulously tending her flower garden.  She was famous for her cooking, especially her knack for baking goodies.  Frankie’s heart for reaching out to those in need never ceased to amaze.  In her later years, Frankie herself was blessed by her own guardian angel, Jeannie Mercer.

Frankie is survived by her daughter, DeeAnn Freeman (Michael) of Encinitas, Cailfornia, daughter Lori Hoover (Scott) of Pleasanton, California and three grandchildren, Jay-Michael, Zach, and Hannah Freeman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Kochevar, husband Donald and sister, Marie Baroni.

Visitation will  be held at Lakewood  Memorial Park on Thursday, May 4, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Parkinson’s Institute or Covenant Village of Turlock’s Benevolent Fund.
