Geneva J. Chachanian , 68, was born on Jan. 31, 1943, in Al Habaniya, Iraq, and passed away on Feb.20. She was  a wonderful mother and the greatest grandmother in the world.  She was the greatest loving, caring, nurturing mother, sister, spouse, and most of all a great teacher and a listener.

Geneva is survived by her husband, Edward Youel Sarkis; sisters, Jenya and Aneek Chachanian and their  families; brothers, Najdi  and  Noraier Chachanian and their  families; daughter, Mariana Attalla and family; son, Mark E. Sarkis and family; and the most precious thing in the world for her were her grandkids, Amanda, Zina,  Julian , Eliana and Elbron.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday ,Feb. 25 at St. Thomas Assyrian-Chaldean Catholic Church located at 2901 N. Berkeley Ave., Turlock.
