Jamie “Jay” McKaughan, 40, of Ceres, California. On Sunday, March 25, 2012 he lost his battle with cancer at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. He was born and raised in Modesto, California and attended Davis High School. He was a sales manager and a advertising executive. He was an artist and wrote poetry, which he won awards for, and he also enjoyed drawing. In addition to his artistic talents, he won awards through Major League Gaming (MLG) for his online gaming abilities. Jay was a loving husband, father and brother and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his loving wife Tammy McKaughan, daughter Mariah McKaughan and twins Dalton and Meghan McKaughan, all of Ceres; brother Jess McKaughan; sisters Mary Jane Casillas, and Pamela Jean Roberts, all of Modesto; and Jay’s best friend Jason Durrett. He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Mary Jane McKaughan.
An inurnment service will be held at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Escalon on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Mark Wagner officiating.
