ughson, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center after complications from a recent illness. Janice was born in Turlock’s old Emanuel Hospital. She grew up in the Turlock area, graduated from Turlock High School, and married Michael Atwood in 1974 in Carson City, Nevada. In 1978 she helped start the family business, Big Valley Pallet Co. She has worked their ever since that time. Janice loved her family and her cats. She worked with the Hughson Twentieth Century Club to raise funds for the high school. 

  Janice was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 40 years,   Michael Atwood, brother Loren (Karen) Anderson, of Turlock, Brother-in-law Jim (Dee) Atwood of Las Vegas NV and sister-in-law Alice (Jim) Favelo of Fresno.

Visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Friday, March 6th from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral Service will be at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, March 7th. Private burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
