Jeannette Arlene Murray Maier was born on March 31, 1929 to Everett Lyle and Mildred Ina Murray. During her happy childhood, Jeannette lived with her parents and two sisters, Oleta and Virginia, on the farm in the home that her parents built on Faith Home Road in Keyes, California. She graduated from Turlock High School in 1947. In 1951, she graduated from San Jose Bible College (now known as William Jessup University) with a 4-year degree. Jeannette lived most of her life in California. She returned home to Turlock in May 2014 to live at Covenant Living. Prior to that, she lived in the Santa Cruz, California area for 44 years. She is survived by four adult children Kathleen Musitelli, Pamela Nichter, Julie Silvey and David Maier; 10 grandchildren Amanda, Zachary, Lynette, Lindsey, Levi, Luke, Lisa, Amber, Brandon and Daniel and 11 great-grandchildren. Jeannette was the last of the Murray family to “graduate” to heaven.
A family gathering is planned for Jeannette’s birthday this coming spring.
