Jess Solis was born on Oct. 22, 1933, in El Paso, Texas, and passed away at the age of 76 surrounded by his family.
Jess worked in the electrical field for 50 plus years. He was very well liked by so many people. Jess loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish and just enjoy nature at its best. He enjoyed getting together with family and friends. We will miss those wonderful e-mails Dad...you OLBUZRD. Jess enjoyed being a 49er and SF GIANTS fan. You would find him tailgating at pole E in the 49ers parking lot on game day. We will miss you FOO.
Jess was the beloved son of the late Jesus and Elena Solis. Loving son-in-law to the late Susie Dunham. Jess was the loving husband of 59 years to Rose Solis; awesome father to Raymond Solis (Marsha), Richard Solis (Jill), Rosalie Solis-Augusto (Dennis) and Ronald Solis (Delia); beloved father-in-law to the late Kristy; grandfather to Heather, Jessica, Danielle, Nicolas, Jesus (Chuy), Christopher, Jodi and Casey; great grandfather to Isaac, Preston, Roman, Natalie, Kayla, Madison and many nieces and nephews and cousins; and loving brother to Socorro (Jerry) McGowan, Maria Elena (Charlie) Sorenson, Manuel Solis and the late Maria Elena and Luis.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 12:30 p.m. on April 17 at St. Kevin’s, 704 Cortland Ave., San Francisco.
