Jose Miranda Jr. passed away peacefully on December 9, 2011 at the home of his cousin.

He attended elementary school at Cunningham, Turlock Jr. High, Turlock High School and was an undergraduate at ITT Tech in Lathrop. His friends would call him "The Horse" because he was a fast runner.

He was always willing to help anyone he could. He was very much liked by all his neighbors and mowed their lawns. He always dreamed of being a police officer or joining the military, but for certain circumstances, that didn't work out for him. Jr. had a big heart.

Jr. had an accident on December 9, 2008 and had fallen into a coma & had brain surgery. Three years later, on the anniversary of the accident, he passed away.

Jose Miranda Jr. is survived by his father Jose Miranda, mother Margarita Miranda, sisters Rosa A Miranda, an Jacqueline Miranda. He also left behind two nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 22 from 4-8 pm with a Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, Dec. 23 at 9:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
