Juanita Mutschler, 92, of Turlock, passed away at Covenant Village Care Center. Juanita was born in Elk City, Oklahoma to Clyde and Dosha Wheeler and attended a one room school in Canute, OK. In November of 1938 she married the love of her life, Lewis Mutschler, who preceded her in death in 1990 after 52 years of marriage. They lived in San Jose, CA, moved to Rudy, Arkansas, and finally settled in Turlock in 1982. Juanita was also preceded in death by three siblings: Loyd Wheeler, Violet Stinson, and Joy Wheeler.
Juanita is survived by two sons: Lewis Jr. (Margaret) Mutschler of Elk Grove, CA and Dan Mutschler of Foster City, CA, three grandchildren: Russell Mutschler of Albuquerque, NM, Troy Mutschler of Las Vegas, NV, and Audra Orth, of Elk Grove, CA; and 5 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 22nd at Covenant Village Care Center (which is located behind Covenant Village.)
