Kulwant Singh Somal

Kulwant Somal, 49 of Turlock, passed away on Monday. He was born in Patiala, Punjab, India to Daljit and Manjit Somal in 1961. In 1980, he moved to Yuba City, and then to Livingston in 1981. He settled in Turlock in 1982. Kulwant had worked for Foster Farms for over 30 years, and worked his way to production superintendant. He was a member of the Turlock Verduga Rd. Sikh Temple. He enjoyed golfing and football. Kulwant was an avid Raider’s fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with family. God and family were his life.
Kulwant is survived by his wife Rajinder Somal; children Manprit Somal, Gurprit Somal and Joshprit Somal all of Turlock; mother Manjit Somal of Turlock; siblings Surinder Nagra and Inderjit Sidhu. He was preceded in death by his father Daljit Somal who passed away in February.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30 at Allen Mortuary. The funeral service will be held at noon on Sunday, Oct. 31 at Allen Mortuary with the cremation at 2:00 p.m. Please share your memories at www.allenmortuary.com.
