Lars Zarak Banks, 53, passed away on July 16 in Patterson. Lars was born in Oakland and was an armored car carrier for 26 years. He was also a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Oakland.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline Y. Flamer-Banks of East Palo Alto; father, Leonard Banks of Arkansas; step-father, Gerald Philip of San Jose; son, Miran L. Banks of Patterson; daughter, Roxa N. Banks of Patterson; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 29 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on July 30 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main St., Turlock. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Services are under the direction of Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service of Turlock.
