Leona was born in Modesto, CA to Bernard and Ruth Farr.  She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and her husband Bill of 53 years.  She leaves three children:  Jane Sullivan (John) of Midpines, CA, Linda Quinn (Hal) of Denair, and Bill Strong, Jr. (Lynette) of Modesto.  She leaves seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

Bill Sr. and Leona enjoyed their boats and loved traveling in their motor home.  She worked for Farr’s Department Store in Modesto, her family business.  Later, she worked as the bookkeeper for Boies Downtown Drug Store in Turlock.

Leona leaves a legacy of strength and character demonstrated by her capacity to help others, her love and unquestionable integrity and most of all, her unwavering faith in God and her savior, the Lord Jesus  Christ.

A private burial was held at Lakewood Memorial Park.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 30 at 2:00pm at Connecting Point Church of the Nazarene in Denair, CA.
