Michael Terry Falkenberg, 64, was taken to be with the Lord on July 21, 2017 in La Grange, CA. He passed away after a courageous 10 month battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Born on February 16, 1953 to Kenneth and Lucy Falkenberg, Michael was raised in Turlock. He attended Sacred Heart Church in grade school and went on to graduate from Turlock High School. 

Diligent and hardworking, after high school Michael went on to achieve a successful career as a truck driver. He started out working for the family business hauling turkeys for Sun Hauling and later went on to work for Clausen Trucking. Between 2000 and 2010, Michael enjoyed running his own business hauling steel for Varco Pruden. 

On July 27, 1991, Michael married the love of his life, Karen Rogers in Sparks, NV. They cherished many wonderful years together raising their family. 

A man of faith, Michael was member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends, taking his mom gambling, and watching the Oakland Raiders football games. 

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Falkenberg. He is survived by his mother, Lucy Falkenberg of Turlock, CA; his wife of 26 years, Karen Falkenberg; his 3 siblings, Danny Falkenberg, Dale Falkenberg, and Trudy Coats of Turlock, CA; his 6 children, Chad Falkenberg, Shane Falkenberg, Rita Falkenberg, Randy Falkenberg, and Karly Falkenberg of Turlock, CA and Pamela Brockman of New Jersey; and his 12 grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 27 followed by a rosary. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 28. All services will be held at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
